408ºñÀÚ´Â ÀϹÝÀûÀ¸·Î ºñÀÚ¸éÁ¦ÇùÁ¤¿¡ ÀÇÇؼ ¹«ºñÀÚ·Î ÀÔ±¹½Ã ÁÖ´Â ºñÀÚÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
ÀϹÝÀûÀ¸·Î °ü±¤ºñÀÚ(Tourist Visa)·Î º¸½Ã¸é µÇ±¸¿ä.
Sec. 47. Notwithstanding the
provisions of this Act, the President is authorized:
(a) When the public interest so
warrants:
(l) To waive
the documentary requirements for any class of nonimmigrants, under such
conditions as he may impose;
(2) To admit, as
nonimmigrants, aliens not otherwise provided for by this Act, who are coming for
temporary period only, under such conditions as he may prescribe;
(3) To waive the
passport requirements for immigrants, under such conditions as he may
prescribe;
(4) To reduce or to
abolish the passport visa fees in the case of any class of nonimmigrants who are
nationals of countries which grant similar concessions to Philippine citizens of
a similar class visiting such countries;
(5) To suspend the
entry of aliens into the Philippines from any country in which cholera or other
infectious or contagious disease is
prevalent; (b) For humanitarian reasons, and
when not opposed to the public interest, to admit aliens who are refugees for
religious, political, or racial reasons, in such classes of cases and under such
conditions as he may prescribe. Exchange Student Visa -

visas are issued to officially designated exchange professors, researchers, and
students coming from foreign
universities with existing Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the University of
the Philippines

visa is valid until the end of the exchange agreement or scholarship
contract
The visa
is generally processed and issued here in the Philippines. It can also be issued through the Philippine
embassies or consulates abroad
It can be
renewed if the scholarship or agreement is extended for a definite period of
time
Exchange fellows and students are requested to immediately report to the
OSA upon arrival to the University.
